First blog post! Introducing us- Juliane & Alex

Alex and I are starting our third year running Juliane & Alex full time in the lovely city of Austin. We love what we do, and are passionate about telling stories through film. This year, as one of the improvements we are making, we are starting to blogging regularly. As a good first step, I thought I'd take a moment to introduce us!

Alex and I have been married for almost three years now (our anniversary is 5/23/14). We got married in Connecticut, which is Alex's home state. I am originally from Germany, but have been living in the US for quite a few years now. 

Alex and I met in college, where we were both attending film school (we graduated from Emerson College in Boston). We decided to combine our love for film with our love for love, and started Juliane & Alex in 2013. After getting married, we relocated to the wonderful state of Texas, and are proud to call Austin our home!

Some of our favorite things to do include going on adventures with our sweet pups Lizzy and Ollie, hiking, playing tennis, visiting our families on the East Coast and in Germany, eating at Chuy's,  and spending time with the people we love.
